About aluminum

Aluminum, one of the main metals we handle.
It is very light compared to iron, which is the raw material for steel cans, and is easy to process. It is also a familiar material for beer and juice cans. According to the data for FY2020, the annual production demand for aluminum cans is more than 21 billion in Japan alone.
Also, it is much more energy efficient to recycle aluminum than to purify it from ore.

If you recycle and make aluminum products, you can make it with about 3% of the energy required for newly refining aluminum.
When you throw it away as garbage, you don’t need to distinguish between steel cans and aluminum cans.
However, if you don’t put it out as garbage, it may not reach us.
Empty cans are properly trashed for cans!
